Scott Taylor, Moon Descent (LANDSCAPE 2026)

Lake Tyrrell, mid-August, 6am. Zero degrees, zero wind, not a cloud in the sky. The water is a perfect mirror, the platform bisecting a world that can't decide which way is up. The moon is bright enough to cast shadows as it drops toward the horizon, making way for a sunrise that's only just beginning to warm the far edge of the sky. Somewhere in the distance, faint lights from the salt miners bleed quietly into the dark, the only hint that the world hasn't stopped entirely.
