Nick Nairn-Smith, Mirror (SEASCAPE 2024)
An incredible & raw moment at Tasmania's desolate rocky islet, 'Pedra Branca'. In this photo an eight-metre sea surged around the 60-meter-high islet causing an eruption of white water that created a mirror-like image of the island. Amongst the chaos several albatrosses were caught off guard-some even disappearing within the explosion. This image was captured in a unique and rare weather pattern-being able to reach this location 30 nautical miles offshore was no easy feat but was well and truly worth the adventure.
