Ngaire Hart, Megaherbs Enderby Island (LANDSCAPE 2026)

I visited the "Galapagos of the Southern Ocean," the Subantartic Islands known for its incredible rich biodiversity. These fabulous 'Megaherbs,' are a paradise for naturalists. The purple flower belongs to the carrot family. All the plants are huge, growing in isolation and are endimic to these islands, which are part of UNESCO and are World Heritage listed. They were like nothing I had ever seen before.
