This is an aerial picture taken in summer at Lake Bumbunga, SA. As the water recedes in mid-summer, the colour tones, layers, textures and pattern of the Salt Lake begins to reveal. It is amazing to see the similarities between the patterns at micro level and patterns at macro level. This abstract image provides room for imagination.
