Michael Stanborough, Last Light (SEASCAPE 2026)

Many of the beaches along the south coast of Western Australia have life preservers on the cliff above where the rock fishing happens. This is at Esperance. For me the shot is about the beauty of the sea but also the sentinel quality of the preserver reminds me of how dangerous it can be.
