Chris Freelance, Land, sea and sky (SEASCAPE 2023)

Like many seaside views, this has all the elements of the typical coastal intersection between humanity and the untamed seas: the lighthouse and breakwater atop cliffs scattered with hardy salt-tolerant vegetation, leading down to rocks scarred by years of brutal wave impacts. The hint of buildings along the distant mountains is an indication of just how much of Earth’s coastline is impacted by human presence.
