It is not without some irony that this image was captured at sunset. It begs the question—how soon will the energy of the past be replaced by the energy of the future. While this coal fired power plant in the Newcastle area looks new and shiny in the orange glow of sunset, this infrastructure will be replaced in the not too distant future.
