Norman Arnel Zamora, Gigantor Statue at Wakamatsu Park (URBAN 2026)

The 18 metre tall iconic statue of Gigantor is located at Wakamatsu Park, Kobe, Japan, 4 JR stops from Sannomiya Station. Its original name is Tetsujin 28 Go meaning "Iron Man". In order to avoid conflict / confusion with Marvel's Iron Man when introduced to US audiences, the name was changed to "Gigantor". It's the first "anime" I've watched and is still my favourite. I remember watching an episode whilst waiting for my schoolbus pickup. I also found a website where its action figure is available for shipment worldwide.
