Sue Curtis, First Light (LANDSCAPE 2026)

First light spills across the rugged Mt Buffulo granite escarpment, catching the trees and rock faces in warm gold. Beyond, mist softens the layered ranges and reveals a patchwork of farmland in the valley below. I wanted the image to hold that quiet moment where the wild edge meets the settled landscape, just as the day begins.
