Zac Smith, Emerald Lakes at sunset (URBAN 2026)

Emerald Lakes isn’t your typical Gold Coast scene. It oozes charm, like a pocket of Europe was carefully folded into suburban Queensland. Colourful townhouses with shuttered windows line the waterfront, narrow laneways twist past boutiques and cafés, and reflections ripple softly in the still lake below. I'd photographed it from the ground before, but this time, I wanted to capture its elegance from above. From the sky. At sunset.
