A supermoon rises at sunset from the slopes of Mt Altimarloch, with the layered ranges of New Zealand’s lower North Island fading into atmospheric haze. Warm evening light gives way to cooler shadow as the landscape transitions from day to night, revealing the scale and quiet stillness of the high country.
