Ian Halkett, Boardwalk on the edge of the mangroves (SEASCAPE 2023)

Mangrove evironments have long fascinated me but this was my first visit to photograph their remarkable vegetation, insects, spiders and birds in black and white. Taking a break from the mosquitoes I walked on to the foreshore at low tide to enjoy this unusual perspective of the boardwalk on Garden Island, South Australia.
