Amanda Clarke, Beneath the Sails (URBAN 2026)

Seen from ground level, the tiled surface of the Sydney Opera House stretches forward toward its soaring sails. The low angle and stark black-and-white treatment emphasise texture, repetition, and scale, transforming a familiar urban landmark into a study of form and structure. The absence of colour and context invites the viewer to focus on geometry and spatial depth within the built environment.
