Emma Peacock, Approaching Storm (SEASCAPE 2027)

I waited patiently beside the lake at the back of garden as a storm approached from the south. The wind was so strong it nearly blew my tripod over as I took increasingly long exposures in the fading light. There were dramatic shots of lightning strikes but I chose this image as my favourite as it illustrates the peace and calm I feel at the lake, no matter what the weather.
