Laurence McDonald, Amongst the Dunes (LANDSCAPE 2026)

While exploring the dunes at Wilson's Promontory National Park (Yiruk/Wamoon), for an ongoing project, I saw a cluster of coastal grasses growing out of the sand and gently swaying in the light breeze. It caught my attention because I hadn't seen much grass at all throughout the dunes that we had explored—such a unique area and so peaceful at night, especially under the Milky Way.
