Nature's textures and colours inspire me as an aerial photographer. This photo shows a pink salt lake in Pingrup, Western Australia. The image resembles a painting, with its smooth pink water and its rough shoreline creating contrasting patterns. The white salt crust on the left adds a three-dimensional texture, like an artist’s impasto palette. The splashes of white in the pink water are caused by the salt crystals reflecting the sunlight. They add a touch of sparkle and texture to the image. I took this photo with my drone, hoping to share and explore nature's diversity and wonder.
