Ingrid Hendriksen, Crimson Mud (AERIAL 2024)
Aerial photograph taken from the passenger seat of a small aircraft. This scene was over a bauxite residue holding area, in Queensland. The characteristic red colour of bauxite residue results from the high concentrations of naturally occurring iron compounds in the original bauxite ore.
