Michael Tropiano, Urban South Pacific Life Blood (URBAN 2024)
The Marquesas Islands in the South Pacific are full of overwhelming natural beauty. While urban structures are few and far between on these remote islands, where they appear they provide a stark and bold contrast to an otherwise untouched setting. Here from left to right urbanization displays three life bloods for survival on this small island, 1) Solar Power 2) Cyclone shelter (central building) 3) Tourism (A hanging line that was strung up to fantastically display the local sarongs)
