Margaret Bending, As Above so Below. Cannon Hill, QLD 4/01/2024 (URBAN 2024)
I have been observing and passing by this part of Perrin Creek in Cannon Hill for a few years. The Creek runs underground through large outlet pipes. There are different waterfowl, like ducks and waterhens, visiting and living there, and some bushes and mangroves on the other side of the road. The contrast between the two sides of the road is natural bush, and the other is artificial. I had my camera and was looking to see what I could find. I then noticed the rubbish truck's reflection in the water and captured a few different images. It was a clear day after some rain, so the reflection was clear. In the editing, I limited the amount of colours to simplify the image. I tried it with just BW but decided it looked better with a little bit of colour. Taken with my Nikon D750, 70-200mm lens at 70mm focal length. 1/320 sec. ISO 100, f/4.
