Tracey Hazelden, A lazy Sunday afternoon (URBAN 2024)
People watching in the urban landscape alongside St Martin's Canal provides hours of entertainment. The construction of the canal was ordered by Napoleon 1 in 1802 and canal boats supplied Paris with grain, building materials and other goods. Today the canal is popular amongst Parisians and tourists alike and provides an ideal place to hang out and relax in a big, busy, city environment.
